About the Journal

Founded in 2023, the Intercontinental Journal of Social Sciences (IJSS) provides a robust platform for disseminating high-quality research in sociology, anthropology, political science, international relations, and related interdisciplinary studies. We are committed to fostering critical discourse and welcome submissions from scholars, practitioners, and students worldwide. IJSS is an open-access journal, ensuring that all articles are freely accessible to the public for the widest possible dissemination and impact. Anyone can read, download, copy, distribute, and use the papers, as long as proper citation is given to the original authors and the source.

All articles published in IJSS are subject to copyright by the journal, but authors retain the rights to their work and are free to share and archive their publications under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. Since its establishment in 2023, IJSS has been committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, diversity, and inclusivity. Any information submitted by authors, reviewers, and readers is held in strict confidentiality and is used exclusively for the stated purposes of the journal. No personal information is disclosed to third parties. For long-term availability, IJSS is part of both the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems, which secure a permanent archive for the journal, safeguarding the scholarly record.
